COFFIN TEXTS Signs With BLOOD HARVEST RECORDS

November 7, 2008

Los Angeles, California-based death metal band COFFIN TEXTS has signed a deal with Blood Harvest Records for the release of its second, long-awaited album, "Tomb of Infinite Ritual". The group's last CD, "Gods of Creation, Death & Afterlife", came out in 2000 via Dwell/Brutalized Records.

Commented bass/vocalist Robert Cardenas: "We've worked really hard on this recording but for some reason or another, we had problems getting this finally done. I think it had to do with making some wrong disissions on where we would record it and production. We're happy that we finally see a light at the end of a long tunnel and can wait to see the finished product. We will have new artwork done by Kaosart.com which is also working with MORBID ANGEL and other great groups."

In other news, COFFIN TEXTS' "Tomb of Infinite Ritual" demo CD (2003) and "Gods of Creation, Death & Afterlife" will be released on vinyl in 2009.
